it's a miracle - i uploaded pictures!!!

Hey there sweet friends!! I am HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY to report that I FINALLY photographed a big fat stack of cards to share. Finally, some new material for ya! Have you seen this SWEET stamp set from Unity? This card is little bitty. . .it's called a "Scrapling", which is a fairly new term to me. If you google "scrapling" you will find all sorts of cute examples from people all over the place! This one is about 2 inches wide, and 5.5 inches tall - so it still fits in a regular envelope, but you can use up all your tiny scraps. Seriously people, SO. MUCH. FUN. Love it. Have you made any scraplings? If so, link me up - I'd love to see your inspiration. . .and if you haven't ever made one. . .GO DO IT!!! :)

My COMPUTER CAME!!!!! hooray! I am still trying to get PSE, printers, etc. loaded and ready to go. . .plus all my files. BUT we are on our way to being back in business!

I cannot believe its been a WEEK since I blogged! Yikes! So if anyone is still reading. . . .I should have a post ready for the next day or two! (EDT: its all ready to go, first thing Tuesday morning!!!! I have goodies to share too!!!!)

just me checking in. . .

Okay, so I have given up on trying to upload photos without my computer, photoshop, and files. I just wanted to check in and say HI! I guess I am giving in to the fact that I will be MIA for a bit.  So please don't give up on me. . .check back, and I hope to be back in full swing soon.  Until then, I am opting out of Hip Hop for the next weeks until I can get back on track! I will miss you girlies!

Hippin' and Hoppin' but barely!

Happy Hip Hop Thursday! I am here, but barely.  It's been a rough few weeks around here, and being without my computer is getting REALLY old.  

I am happy I can at least share my little card with you today. . . it's a funny sized card - what do you think?  It's about 8.5x 3.  I only made it that size because thats the size of the striped paper I had!  I sort of like it though.  It fits in a standard letter sized envelope, with some room to spare.  I hope you like it!!

unity blast from the past. . .

so since i don't have any NEW projects to upload, thanks to the computer issues we are all so tired of hearing about,  i'd like to share a few of my VERY FIRST unity projects. . .i did these for CHA, last winter.  this second card, is still one of my all-time favorite cards!!! i hope you like them!

and because my brain is TOTALLY malfunctioning, and my days are apparently totally messed up, i realized that i posted my stamp winner on TUESDAY instead of WEDNESDAY. . . so sorry! Have a great day today! (Whatever day it is!!!) ;)

CPS 99, a giveaway, and the crash. . .

So sorry for my lack of posting lately! My computer CRASHED. It is having some sort of major malfunction, so I am sort of out of commission till it gets repaired (the part from Dell is on the way, we think!)
So I might not be posting too much this week, but I'd like the share my card for CPS Sketch #99. Return of the Hip Hop!

Welcome back to Unity's Hip Hop Thursday!!! Phew, those two weeks were a good break because there was SOOO much going on (remember those holidays called Christmas and New Years that had us all spinning like tops, and in complete joyous chaos!?) but I am READY to get back to the hip hopping! How about you!?

As soon as I saw these cupcake stamps, from the Sweet Yummy Cupcakes set, I knew I wanted to make a cupcake-shaped card. The cupcakes are quite large stamps, and SUCH fun to use! So here it is, and here's how I did it. I stamped the cupcake onto light purple cardstock, and folded it, folding OVER the tippy top of the frosting. Then I stamped the image again on dark purple cardstock, cut out just the frosting part and attached it over the top. (along with the candle.) That way, I have enough of a fold, but I haven't lost any of the image. After it was done and cut out, it wouldn't quite stand up properly, so I added the flower on the side.

CPS 98. .. .Dino-Mite!
